Kawaii Girls Panic - Xbox Gots Waifus Now?

Welcome back my weebs and otakus, it's Otakunofuji with a lewd game video. Today we're talking about Kawaii Girls Panic - another clone of the classic arcade game Qix where you uncover increasingly sexy pictures of anime babes that is, surprisingly, actually out on Xbox. It's pretty good, too.

Kawaii Girls Panic is based on Qix, a classic early 80's arcade game where you drew lines to close in boxes and cover a playing field. To be honest, I've never played or even seen Qix before, and am more familiar with the more lewd Gals Panic games of the 90's and more recent genre copies like Pretty Girls Panic and Mokoko X. Anyway, Kawaii Girls Panic is one of those games. And it kinda rocks.

One thing to note is that the game was previously released on Switch with the title Hentai Girls Panic, but they changed the name for Xbox. It was also only $6 on Switch compared to $15 on Xbox, for some reason. Achievements cost $9 I guess.

The idea behind the gameplay is super simple - just draw lines and connect them back to an already uncovered area to fill in the field covering a silhouette and reveal the picture of a hot anime girl underneath. All the while enemies are shooting energy balls and teleporting all over the place and if they touch the line you're drawing, you lose a life. It's simple and straightforward but surprisingly challenging. There are six anime waifus in the game with four increasingly sexy pictures each. By collecting the letters that spell "K-A-W-A-I-I" in each level, you unlock a special extra sexy pic of the girls. The final hard difficulty for each girl is actually pretty difficult, but oh so satisfying when you finally beat them.

Now, this is a T for Teen game on Xbox, so it isn't especially spicy. No nudity, of course. The art is solid and the girls look pretty darn good, so I'm not complaining. I will complain, however, about the dummies that always leave comments and write user reviews of console releases like this that always say "Ehrm, this is more censored than the Steam version". Like. no shit, genius. Of course it's censored you numbnuts idiot morons. Why did you expect anything else from a console release? I've said before that playing sexy games on consoles feels more fun and naughty than playing similar stuff on your PC even if it's more censored. If you want uncensored anime tiddies there's a whole internet out there full of them to perv out on for free. No need to spend $15 on a video game.

Ok, rant over. One aspect of these anime girl games, especially lately, is the specter of A.I. artwork hanging over them. The girls here in Kawaii Girls Panic seem legit-ish to me. The Steam page for the game does disclose that A.I. was used for "image processing" whatever that means. I think the girls look great here so, eh. Not going to get too worked up guessing are they or aren't they.

I have to give a shout out to the music. It's catchy and great. Just thumping electronic tunes that are really good.

All in all, Kawaii Girls Panic is really pretty good. The girls are nice, and the gameplay is solid and satisfyingly challenging. I'll always support games like these that are actually something besides those stupid horrible goddamned pointless sliding block puzzles like half the games on the Switch eshop are. And I'll definitely support sexy games coming to Xbox. It's kind of overpriced perhaps, compared to Mokoko X also on Xbox which is cheaper and includes animated backgrounds instead of the static shots here in Kawaii Girls Panic. I dunno, though. I played for 8 hours and got all of the achievements, so I feel like I've gotten my money's worth for $15 here and would recommend it.
