Super Waifu Ball - Subtract Monkey. Add Waifus

Welcome back my weebs and otakus, it's Otakunofuji with a short look at another sorta lewd game. Today we're playing Super Waifu Ball, the game that poses the question of what would happen if you took all of the personality and charm and heart and soul and creativity out of Super Monkey Ball. The answer - It's still kinda good, actually.

Super Waifu Ball is pretty self explanatory, really. It's Super Monkey Ball with the monkeys replaced with sorta maybe OK-ish looking anime waifus. They really don't look great, honestly. It kind of makes you wonder why bother at all. They do make cute little noises when you run into stuff, though, so there's that.

The rest of the game is just a complete carbon copy of Super Monkey Ball. You roll around by tilting the world around your waifu ball instead of controlling the ball itself. The thing is, pretty much ALL of the levels are straight copies of Monkey Ball levels. Like, I'm not a huge Super Monkey Ball fan, because I always get frustrated and quit 20 levels in, but even with my limited experience with the series I can still tell that pretty much all of these levels in Super Waifu Ball are ripped off.

With that said, it's still fun. It's still addictive. It's still got that "One more try" feeling that keeps you playing. It's undeniably creatively bankrupt, but it's got waifus! And it's on Xbox! It has relatively easy achievements! And it's cheap! Super Waifu Ball is only $6. For that price it's super easy to recommend. If you've ever thought "I like Super Monkey Ball, but I wish it had waifus", and who hasn't thought that, this is the game for you.
